According to a PEW Research paper released in June of 2012, 53% of American adults age 65 and older use the internet or email. Further more, 34% of this same demographic use social media and 18% use them every day! If you didn’t know, the time the average person spends on Facebook is significantly longer than any other top visited place on the internet. That means more potential to spread the good word of what your nonprofit does. Social media isn’t just for kids anymore!
